Welcome to our website
We are a friendly, four class Church of England primary school in the village of Forncett St. Peter. Our children are aged from 4 to 11 years and come from a wide surrounding area as well as from the village itself. Here, every child is very important to us whatever their abilities or circumstances and we pride ourselves on knowing them all well as individuals whom we feel privileged to work with. The school’s ethos is built on the foundation-stone that we should ‘love our neighbour as we love ourselves.’ This belief in treating one another as we would like to be treated is the core of all we do together as a learning community and makes for a happy and harmonious school where children feel safe, settled and ready to learn and grow. We warmly welcome visits to see our school in action. Please email or telephone if you’d like to know more.

Best wishes,
Judith Jones – Headteacher - 01508 530506

Parent/Carer Café! ‘Take Five’

The new café for our parent/carers and their children will open at St. Mary’s church Forncett St Mary (opposite village hall) every Tuesday during term-time from 3pm-4.30pm. The idea is that you can drop in and have a chat to your friends with tea/refreshments etc. until it’s time to either pick up from a club after school (tennis) or to go home. Anyone can go and the village hall can be used for parking. If you haven’t been, St. Mary’s is a fantastic venue and well worth a visit. It’s warm and comfy and has loo facilities. Ideal if you have one child at a club and another who doesn’t or can’t go. It saves waiting in the car!.
